Bio

RC Rising started in February of 2009 and then re-organized itself in 2010.  Now, ya'll . . . we  play strictly "Americana" music. That may mean different things to different people (or nothing at all to some), but to us - it's pure Americana folk/roots/rockabilly music. Some artists we cover are Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., Slaid Cleaves, Alejandro Escovedo, Chris Knight, John Prine, Uncle Tupelo, Charlie Robison, Social Distortion, Tex Ritter (and more), with even some of our stuff mixed in. By the time we developed our sound - it was Cow Punk!
